Team Explore Idea victoriously conducted a panel discussion on women empowerment entitled, “The Female Leaders: नारीको प्रगति, देशको स्तर उन्नति” on the 30th of Mangsir, 2081, with the objective of celebrating women’s achievements and pertaining their struggles. The event was inaugurated by our chief guest, the first female president of Nepal, Right Honorable Mrs. Bidya Devi Bhandari. The panel included the first representative from the Himalayan communities to be appointed as an ambassador by the Nepalese government, former Nepalese ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, Mrs. Lucky Sherpa, the winner of Madan Puraskar for the book, “Khalangama Hamala,” initiator of Dignified Menstruation, a true nurse and activist, Dr. Radha Paudel, and a bold politician, the former minister of urban development of Nepal, Mrs. Ram Kumari Jhakri.
The panel discussion highlighted the achievements of the panelists in their respective fields, including challenges faced by women in the patriarchal society. It also featured the future of female leadership across various sectors in Nepal. The panelists put forward their notion regarding the significance of gender equality and equity without hindering the male advocacy. The idea of men and women collaborating for social upliftment was illuminated.
The session ended with a fruitful conclusion. Every soul in the hall was enlightened with knowledge and awareness. Team Explore Idea is appreciative towards the Global College of Management, the chief guest, panelists, and attendees for the grand success of the event.
