One Youth, One Plant

For the first time in the history of Global College of Management, a student-led club superintended a program involving students in a field activity. Team Explore Idea triumphantly conducted a plantation campaign, “One Youth, One Plant”, initiated by Nepal Youth Council (NYC), with the aim of extending a helping hand for the nature. This environment-based event nudged students about the importance of tree plantations for liberating the surrounding.

The event embarked with escorting the students to the venue; Changunarayan, for our plantation motive. Division Forest Department, Madhyapur Thimi, aided us with the plants and tools required for the campaign. Changunarayan Community Forest Committee, along with the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police, succored the students to plant their respective saplings.

Mr. Mukul Bhatt and Mrs. Anupama Sangroula also accompanied us to the venue to serve nature. By the end of the program, the vacant land was brimming with saplings of different kinds. Apart from enlightening themselves regarding the significance of planting trees, students savored the moment of helping the earth with their pals.

In a nutshell, “One Youth, One Plant” was victorious in making a modest but dynamic influence among people regarding the urgent need to save nature. Team Explore Idea extends its deepest gratitude to the Global College of Management, distinguished guests, and active participants for making this event a massive hit.
